SIMM Compressed Air Division has been supplying and servicing industrial compressed air needs for over 50 years. Established area distributors for INGERSOLL RAND and GARDNER DENVER screw and piston compressors both of which combine high efficiency and maximum reliability with low maintenance costs. Both ranges include air and water cooled oil free screws, variable speed drive for fluctuating air demand, standard air cooled single stage screws up to 13 bar working pressure also oil free/high pressure reciprocating compressors. Both INGERSOLL RAND and GARDNER DENVER screw compressors come with a FIVE YEAR manufacturers warranty as standard. We currently hold over 75 second-hand compressors in stock ranging from 3cfm to 3000cfm. All our reconditioned machines carry a 12 months unlimited hours warranty which can be extended to FIVE YEARS subject to service agreements.

SIMM hold one of the largest stocks of new and second-hand reconditioned spare parts for all leading makes and types of air compressors. Our expert staff are always available to assist with any enquiry from a basic oil filter to a complete overhaul kit. Some of our specialised areas include air/oil separators for screw compressors, PTFE/carbon rings and packings for all makes of oil free reciprocating compressors. A comprehensive range of all accessories are always stocked at both depots.

SIMM are authorised distributors of TRANSAIR powder-coated aluminium compressed air pipework systems from LEGRIS. Quick and easy to install, with sizes now up to 63mm dia, TRANSAIR can now accommodate flow capacity of up to 1000cfm (28.3m³/min) of compressed air at 8 bar working pressure.

SIMM service department controls a team of eight trained service engineers available on a 24 hour call out basis for emergency breakdowns from both our Sheffield and Chorley depots. All our engineers are experienced in servicing, repairing and installing all leading makes of air compressors from a basic pipework installation to full compressed air factory ring main. A total compressed air service is available from initial consultation through to installation and contract maintenance. Apart from major or minor site service work, we have capacity and craneage at our Sheffield works to undertake in-house overhauls of large heavy duty compressors up to 4000cfm.

We also operate an air-end bearing service from a purpose built facility also at Sheffield. All screw air ends reconditioned in our Sheffield Workshops carry a 12 months unlimited hours warranty which can also be extended to FIVE YEARS/25000 HOURS MAX. WARRANTY subject to service agreements. All leading makes of screw air ends can be catered for.
